Ive done small hobbyist game dev work for a long time, this one is from a WIP On Rails Shooter game I'm working on where the main character is a very tiny Teenage girl flying on her Humming bird mount. I've only really gotten the base character mode/Uving finished. The clothes and props are going to be replaced eventually. I wanted in the WIP to be able to show off the scale and the stylized look I'm going for. Things like her "breastplate" being a button, using paperclips for a weapon and as part of her outfit.
She will be riding her friend/mount fighting off dragonflies, spiders, debris flying through the air and even other mounted enemies. I've always loved the "Honey I shrunk the kids"/"Borrowers" aesthetic and scale for a game world. At this point I already have the world, basic story and general level setup figured out. Just have to start plugging away on the assets and getting them integrated into my Unreal game!
